Come in, come in, so glad to see y’all.  Better set awhile.

You know a lot about me after all these years.  Blogs make the world just a little smaller.  They connect us in commonality and friendship.

If you read Farmgirl School every day, or maybe just coming back to it, peek in once in awhile, or are new ’round these parts, welcome.  I want to hear about you!

Introduce yourself in the comments.  Where you from?  What are your goals?  What brings you ’round this way?  Let’s make this world a little smaller!

I’ll put on another pot of coffee.  I can’t wait to hear from you!

You know me 🙂 I am originally from Denver and am now a Byers resident. Is this my forever home? No, but it’s been a good stepping stone. I too am an herbalist all because of you!❤️ I feel I have a bit of a gypsy soul lately… trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up. Lol

I miss you! Congratulations on your new fur baby.

Born in Chicago, moved to Phoenix when I was maybe 2.. so Phoenix is where my original roots are. After meeting Brian getting married to him and the USAF… They sent us to Live in Valdosta, GA… LOVED the true Southern Hospitality there! Then lived in Pusan, South Korea. Amazing experience living outside of the US! Then back to Arizona to Surprise, AZ. Where we bought our 1st home and filled it with two wild little boys and 1 wild dog to run around with them. 5 years ago we had the opportunity to move to a place that blesses us with 4 seasons.. Elizabeth, CO. We planted many roots along the way and have plans for the near future, we’ll after we are empty nesters, to sell the house buy a RV and plant many roots elsewhere across the country. ALWAYS LOVE your writing Katie! You are a true inspiration and blessing to people who are graced knowing you!

Hey Katie, Just recently found your blog again.
Miss hearing from you via snail mail, but happy to find that you are settled and “back on the farm” again. (Size is not important!)
We have been through Pueblo several times in travels.
Glad you like it there! Enjoy and take care!

Hi Katie, I am Kathie, I am originally from Southern California but I moved to Montesano, Washington almost 5 years ago. We bought five acres with a little farmhouse a year ago and starting to live out my dream. So, I am writing here on wordpress and reading other blogs of those who are doing the same. It is inspiring to see the creativity and uniqueness each one brings to their farms. We started with Nigerian dwarf goats ,a few chickens and a Great Pyrenees dog and hope to expand with a sunflower and pumpkin patch next year . Thanks for sharing your experiences… I look forward to reading more!
