Do allow me to speak a bit about my ray of sunshine that never quits

He came into this world after three days and changed my life in so many ways.

He is handsome and quick, sweet as can be, and has a huge part of me.

Wherever he goes, I want to go too, his shining smile on a dark day will do.

I don’t miss a performance or show, you will always find mama in the front row.

I know his heart, his words, his quirks, a genius inside him lurks.

So much like his dad in mannerisms, quick with their jokes and wisdoms.

A big brother who encourages and hugs, who introduced them to pirates and bugs.

Twenty-three today I can hardly believe, joys in life before him he can only perceive.

I am proud of this man, who is one of my best friends, may the laughs and creativity never end.
