White Wolf

You may remember my apothecary in Elizabeth that I ran with my daughter, Shyanne, called White Wolf Medicine. You may even still order from her online! I moved to southern Colorado and opened Cedar & Loom and she turned the shop into a wonderful online store that she can run from her home whilst chasing her adorable toddler. And as you know, Doug and I went on quite an adventure and returned home last November. I became the Artist-in-Residence at our local yarn shop and have been having the best time! I will be there until June when our next adventure begins. Our new shop.

Our new location is in the same building and four doors down from where Cedar & Loom was, so we are going full circle back to where we were and in honor of our journey, the name of our shop will be White Wolf. Shyanne will still have White Wolf Medicine, we are White Wolf Folk Art and Native Remedies. To say we are excited is an understatement! The shop that chose us is a much larger shop than we’ve had with wonderful windows and light and plenty of space to create everything we have in mind! It was an old dance studio, which pleases me since I used to own a dance company. I asked them to leave the barre up, but dang it, they took it down already!

White Wolf will hold beautiful things, like my hand dyed yarn, my looms, medicine shawls, our old fiber art collection of weasels and wheels, and my new (not yet bought) spinning wheel. It will have a full wall of my paintings and Doug’s photography, plus space to have a featured artist each month. We’ll have all of our herbal remedies and teas, healing body products, and animal medicines. We’ll have a new and used book area that includes all of my books. A place to have tea, or craft, or visit, and a space to do Talking Circle and host other events. The ideas are limitless! There will even be space for my husband, Doug, but more on that later.

Opening June of 2025, White Wolf; Folk Art and Native Remedies. So thankful.

  1. So happy to see you so happy. AND that you are expanding to include your medicine again! Aho!

      • I saw the video interview! So deeply I was moved in hearing your voice and seeing you again. How brief was our time together long ago and how lasting the effect has been. My audiobook with you as a main character should be out in June.
