I have discovered a new world of wisdom. I have long been obsessed with the library and its luxurious rows of delicious books. Worlds and knowledge enclosed in cozy covers. I am not a fan of staring at the computer, at all, however I dove into Master Class, the online membership driven school of everything. I am not sponsored by anybody. Y’all know that. But I love to share things that fill me with passion and inspiration. Master Class is a compilation of hundreds of lecture and workshop-style videos recorded by masters in their fields.

It started with Martha Stewart. The queen! On to ukulele lessons, wine classes, realism portrait painting, the power of empathy, vegetarian cooking classes, meditation, and so much more. I will relish this year of classes. Free knowledge (or, I guess in this case, $10 a month), is such a gift. I want to learn everything.
What better way to get to know yourself than to learn a million things and then disregard what you don’t actually care for and embrace with color and vibrancy what you do love?

For instance, I watched a few classes on social media and reaching people and inspiring folks. (Outside of the festivals and markets I am doing this year.) So, I donned some hot pink lipstick, created a vulnerable video, and sent it out into the world of social media. Of course then I realized I really do not like social media. It takes away from creating real relationships in person, and this morning over coffee deleted all my accounts. “You did what?!” my children exclaimed. I shrugged. I am feeling ornery today.
Now, I’ll have more time for master classes.
