I am presently obsessed with Tabitha Brown since seeing an article about her in a recent Better Homes and Gardens magazine. I love her bright spirit, friend-to-all attitude and the fact that she is vegan. She is a beloved social icon at the moment. Her new book was waiting for me on a table in the front of the bookstore upon entering, and I snatched it up immediately.

It is an amazing book and I highly recommend picking up a copy. In her own experience, thirty days has changed her life. She went vegan for 30 days years ago and healed herself when doctors couldn’t. Fresh perspective comes after doing things for 30 days. I’m in a place of “in between” at the moment here and I thought it would be a wonderful challenge. But instead of a challenge, I have found it a joy.
I have thus far walked in the woods by myself, cooked beets in a new way to see if I liked them better, picked myself a bouquet of flowers, turned my wine fridge into a fancy juice and non-alcoholic drink station and gave up drinking for thirty days. Now, I am on day 5 and I am to do something for someone else. I will listen and see if there is someone who could use a little light today and how I might help.
I can’t imagine what the next 25 days will bring. What joy and betterment might follow from a simple book.
Blessings to you all and enjoy this beautiful day! Love, Katie
